Storm run-off into the pond from the boat access road. This is one of several areas around the pond where run-off occurs and excess nutrients are deposited directly into the pond which feeds the algae outbreak.
A no-swimming advisory has kept swimmers out of the pond since July 8. We were interviewed by the Concord Journal recently about the toxic algae outbreak.
