There is a restriction on swimming in White Pond from Town Owned Property in effect for 2015.
On May 4 the Select Board
VOTED: to ask the Town Manager to implement a strategy for 2015 that would require all dogs to be on leash at all times and visitors to remain on marked trails, to prohibit all swimming from Town-owned property, to develop appropriate enforcement mechanisms, to implement the recommendations of the ESS Study, and to begin to expend funds approved by Town Meeting for bank stabilization, erosion control and signage as practical and financially feasible. In addition, the Town Manager will work with the Natural Resources Commission to encourage the same rules to be implemented on Town Conservation Land.
